يعتقد الكثير منا أن الثروة فى جمع المال وتكدسه ولكن المال مهما كثر فمصيره إلى النفاد ولاتبقى إلا المبادىء والقيم وأذكر فى هذا المقام ماكتبه الفاروق عمر بن الخطاب رضى الله عنه إلى ابنه عبد الله فى غيبة غابها :

وهذه القصة التى اسوقها لك عزيزى القارىء وقعت فعلا فى الحياة حيث كان الحاج خليل العامل المتقاعد العجوز الذى جاوز سن المعاش القانونى عائدا إلى بيته فأحس بإحدى قدميه تصطدم بحثيبة ثقيلة على جانب الطريق وتوقف الحاج خليل وانحنى يفتح الحقيبة فإذا به يفاجأ بما لم يكن على بال .. فقد كانت الحقيبة الأنيقة تحوى ثروة من المال
أعاد الحاج خليل غطاء الحقيبة إلى مكانه وحملها وراح يبحث عن اقصر طريق يوصله إلى قسم الشرطة الذى لم يدخله مرة واحدة فى حياته .. وهناك سلم الثروة التى عثر عليها وعندما أحصوها وجدوا أنها تزيد على المائة ألف جنيه استرلينى
أنصرف الحاج خليل فى هدوء عائدا إلى بيته بعد أن ترك اسمه وعنوانه وفى الشقة التى يعيش فيها مع زوجته وابنه الوحيد جلس يروى قصته مع الحقيبة وقال لأسرته :

وقالوا بعد أن أنتهى البرنامج التليفزيونى :
ألم تحصل على مكافأة ؟
فقال الحاج خليل :
بل حصلت عليها وأكثر .. يكفى أننى أعيش اليوم مكرما وسط أسرتى وأهلى وجيرانى .. أننى فخور بما فعلت .. هذه هى ثروتى الحقيقية
